MY ROOTS

I believe in the power of health to transform lives.

I began studying alternative medicine, yoga and meditation in the Boston area, as a college student, in 1999.  Since then, my love for cultivating an understanding of the human body, mind, and spirit has taken me around the world: from studying yoga and Ayurveda in India, therapeutic fasting and nutrition in Thailand, vipassana and other meditation techniques throughout the US to obtaining a naturopathic medical degree from Bastyr University in Seattle.

My personal approach to health involves body, mind, and spirit.  I believe no one realm can be fulfilled without addressing all three.  I believe that some of the best medicine can be found in nature; there is no substitute for fresh air, clean water, movement, whole foods, and community to enhance wellness.

When I'm not practicing naturopathic medicine, I can be found cooking healthy food for my family, reading, skiing, and enjoying the great outdoors.  I live in the NH seacoast with my husband, also a Dr. Ambrose, who works as an Analytical Chemist at the University of New Hampshire, and our three children - the exclamation points to our days.

I love being part of your healing team - and do my best to delineate where my expertise as a naturopathic doctor starts and ends.
