My roots

I believe in the power of health to transform lives.

I began studying alternative medicine, yoga and meditation in the Boston area, as a college student, in 1999.  Since then, my love for cultivating an understanding of the human body, mind, and spirit has taken me around the world: from studying yoga and Ayurveda in India, therapeutic fasting and nutrition in Thailand, vipassana and other meditation techniques throughout the US to obtaining a naturopathic medical degree from Bastyr University in Seattle.

My personal approach to health involves body, mind, and spirit.  I believe no one realm can be fulfilled without addressing all three.  I believe that some of the best medicine can be found in nature; there is no substitute for fresh air, clean water, movement, whole foods, and community to enhance wellness.

When I'm not practicing naturopathic medicine, I can be found cooking healthy food for my family, reading, skiing, and enjoying the great outdoors.  I live in the NH seacoast with my husband, also a Dr. Ambrose, who works as an Analytical Chemist at the University of New Hampshire, and our two sons - the exclamation points to our days.

To contribute to the health of our community and beyond, one individual at a time, using the best in both conventional and natural medicine.  To provide patients with the tools they need to live life with vibrancy, clarity, and ease, so that they may self-sustain wellness.

Your health is as important to us as it is to you.  Regardless of where you are in your health journey, we help you establish, restore, and maintain health.  Whether you are struggling with a health crisis or looking to optimize your health, we feel it is best to understand all of your options.

I love being part of your healing team - and do my best to delineate where my expertise as a naturopathic doctor starts and ends.
